Day 3: Santiago/Puerto Montt/Puerto Varas | Wild Rapids
Fly to Puerto Montt to explore the Chilean Lake District, and then journey overland to the Petrohue Rapids, a breathtaking glacial river, and watch them crash through lava channels formed by the Osorno Volcano.

Fly to Buenos Aires, Argentina’s remarkable capital, and check into your hotel in the fashionable Recoleta neighborhood. The next day, visit the Teatro Colón, considered one of the five best venues in the world for opera due to its stellar acoustics. Wander through the Recoleta Cemetery and see the memorial dedicated to Eva Peron. This evening, enjoy VIP seating at Esquina Carlos Gardel, an esteemed tango venue, for dinner and a show.
