Day 1 – Arrive in Paris, France and transfer to your hotel

Day 2 – Dinner on the Champs Elysees, Seine River Cruise and Illuminations Night Tour

Paris is beautiful by day and breathtaking by night. Find out why Paris is known as the “City of Light” as we visit the capital’s brilliantly illuminated monuments and buildings, brought to life against the backdrop of the dramatic night sky. It’s a truly romantic way to experience Paris. Then see the city from a whole new perspective as you drift beneath romantic bridges and brilliantly illuminated monuments on a relaxing cruise down the Seine River.

Then continue your night on the town with a premium table reservation at “Chez Clément,” a nice restaurant on the dazzling Champs-Élysées. After dinner, you’re on your own to explore the nightlife of Paris’s most fashionable avenue.

Day 3 – Versailles at Leisure

This half-day trip to the magnificent Palace of Versailles is perfect for anyone who is short of time.

The world’s most opulent Château, Versailles was in the 17th century created by Louis XIV (the Sun King) to demonstrate the absolute power of the French monarchy, then at its height.

Louis’ passion for the arts as well as for self-glorification meant that the Palace was decorated on a scale of lavishness unprecedented in France.

This convenient tour package gives you a choice of a morning or afternoon tour and includes fast-track entry to the Sun King’s extravagant creation. An audio-guide (available in 10 languages) will explain what you are seeing as you tour the Hall of Mirrors, the Royal Opera, Marble Staircase, Mars Drawing Room, Venus and Diana Drawing Rooms, and the Royal Chapel.

Marvel at the lavish frescoes, woodwork and marble and gilt embellishments and don’t forget to spend time in the spacious grounds filled with fountains, sculptures, and beautiful gardens.

This tour includes FREE access to the gardens during the musical fountains season (Saturdays and Sundays from April – October), which you normally have to pay a supplement for.

Day 4 – Best of Brussels city tour

Depart in the morning to the train station for your train trip to Brussels.  Once we arrive in Brussels, we start our visit with a stroll to Brussels’ beautiful Grand’ Place. Our guide tells us the history of the unique city hall and the splendid guild houses. Then we board our luxury coach and drive along the magnificent St. Michaels’ cathedral towards the world-famous Atomium, the Chinese Pavilion and the Japanese tower.

Via the Royal residence of Laeken and the Royal St Mary’s church, we drive back to the city center and visit the Sablon district with its elegant stores selling beautiful antiques. Next you see the impressive Court of Justice, we drive to the stately Place Royale and the Royal Palace. The next part of tour tour takes you to the European district with the European Parliamant, the European Commission and Council of Ministers. In the Park of the Jubilee you will marvel at the the monumental Triumphal Arch and some excellent examples of Art Nouveau houses. Passing the Royal Parc and the Belgian Parliament we drive back to the city center where our tour ends.

During our tour we will visit one of the best chocolatiers in town and you and see how our famous chocolate is actually produced. Ample opportunity to sample various chocolates and to purchase.

After an hour’s drive, we arrive in GHENT and visit St Bavo’s Cathedral, home of the world famous late medieval “Mystic Lamb” painting (optional visit, closed on Sundays).

During the city tour you will see all important ancient buildings for which the city is so famous: the Belfry, St Nicholas’ Church and the fortified castle of the Count of Flanders. Next we take you to BRUGES, where we first visit the dreamy Lake of Love and the beguinage where you can find peace and quiet. Time for lunch. Afterwards we start our walking tour and discover all the highlights of the city: Saint John’s Hospital, Our Lady’s Church with the statue by Michelangelo (optional), the Market Square with the Belfry and the medieval Chapel of the Holy Blood.

Don’t forget your walking shoes though! You can also enjoy an optional but ever so nice boat tour along Bruges’ picturesque canals.

Antwerp is Belgium’s 2nd largest city and Europe’s 2nd largest harbor. The city has preserved its historic character and many buildings remind us of its rich past. Above all, it is the city of RUBENS, the world famous master of the 17th century.

We drive to the ancient fortress of the city. Here we start our walking tour to the Market Square with its ancient houses and Our Lady’s Cathedral (entrance fee included). This cathedral boasts many treasures among which 4 of Rubens’ masterworks: “The Erection of and the Descent from the Cross, the Ascension of the Virgin and the Resurrection.” We enjoy a beautiful walk untill reaching the Baroc Carolus Borromeus church, which interior has been made by Rubens himself. Some free time in the city center. Then by coach to the beginning of the port with its splendid new MAS-museum that has been opened .You can have a splendid vieuw from the 9th floor of the port, Europe’s 2nd largest. Also here you can have a look at the Diamonds of the Diamond Pavillon as Antwerp is the world’s diamond center. MAS is closed on Mondays.Free access to the Panorama. Return to Brussels by coach.

Day 5 –  Full Day Loire Castles Tour – Azay le Rideau, Chenonceau, Amboise, Clos-Luce and Wine-Tasting

Start your day by taking the train to Tours, Italy to take a comprehensive tour of the Loire Valley’s greatest Renaissance treasures.

During the French Renaissance—while painting and sculpture flourished, scientists held theories of the dark ages up to the microscope, and explorers set sail for the New World—France’s elite architects erected some of the country’s most immortal structures.

See the storybook Chateau of Azay-le-Rideau reflected in still waters and tour the spectacular gardens of Villandry.

Walk through the ornate corridors of the Chateau of Chenonceau and tour the estate where Leonardo da Vinci, the very exemplar of a Renaissance man, spent his twilight years.

Stand in the shadow of an awe-inspiring castle in Amboise and taste some of the finest wines the Loire Valley has to offer.

Day 6 – Day to explore the city on your own. 

Enjoy your day in Paris sitting at a local bistro taking in all this beautiful city has to offer.  Check out one or two of the many museums, or shop to you literally drop.  No matter what your preference is Paris has something for everyone.
