TOUR DESCRIPTION
Day 1 – St. Lunaire Griquet for 2 nights
Dinner included
We drive from Deer Lake to our accommodation in St. Lunaire Griquet. You are going to be given a choice of B and B accommodation or a Motel accommodation the choice is yours. I think some people would like an option to experience the difference and an opportunity to spend time with locals. The B and B has limited availability so if interested let me know when you hold your space on the tour. On our way up the coast from Deer Lake we will stop for dinner and snacks.
Day 2
Breakfast and Lunch included
Depart for the Viking communities of Norstead and L’Anse aux Meadows (a UNESCO Heritage site). Spend some time in the orientation center followed by a guided tour of the site. You will then have time for exploring on your own. Also we will make a short stop at Dark Tickle where they make delicious local food items for purchase on the way back to our hotel.
Day 3 – Sat Aug 14 – Rocky Harbour
Breakfast included
This morning we leave for Rocky Harbour. Along the way, we will stop at the Arches Provincial Park and also a stop for lunch. We will enjoy a kitchen party tonight and you may be screeched in if you wish.
Day 4 – Deer Lake

Lunch included if Bonne Bay cruise chosen
Today we are going to your choice of Western Brook Pond cruise or Bonne Bay cruise with lunch. Both cruises starting in the morning. A little time for shopping depending on the cruise chosen. We then drive over to Deer Lake to our accommodation for the next two nights.
Day 5
Breakfast and Dinner included
This morning we take a short drive to the Tablelands in Gros Morne Park (a UNESCO Heritage site). At Woody Point we take time for sightseeing and lunch. Then it’s the Woody Point Research Centre, spending time there before our guided tour with a park ranger walking on the earth’s mantle.
Day 6 – Gander for 3 nights

Leaving for Gander our drive will take us to King’s point for lunch perhaps seeing eagles and whales as we dine. We will stop at a mall to catch up on personal items you may need. Then we go and check in at the hotel and get ready for the dinner show.
Day 7
Breakfast and Lunch included
Today you leave early to be dockside to board the ferry to Fogo Island. Where we meet our local who will join us today and share her island with us during our time here. This place is a favourite for me with the beautiful places to see, (Fogo, Joe Batt’s Arm, Tilting, Fogo Island Inn, Seldom Fish Museum). If you behave I will treat you to a Growlers Ice Cream as we travel back to the ferry and our hotel in Gander.
Day 8
Breakfast and Lunch included
This is the morning we leave for Twillingate and the Lighthouse “across tickle and runs”. Then stopping for tastings at the Auk Island Winery. After which we will have lunch at a Shed Party. After lunch, we will depart for Gander and the 911 tour.
Day 9 – Clarenville for 2 nights
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included
Today departing at 9 a.m. and travelling through Terra Nova Park we make our way to Bonavista to visit the lighthouse and Ryans premises as well as the town of Bonavista time permitting.
Day 10
Breakfast and Lunch included
After breakfast enjoy the local farmers market at the hotel. Later this morning 11 a.m. we leave for Trinty and lunch by the sea, then enjoy a walk with a local learning about life and the history of Trinity and some time on your own.
Day 11 – St. Johns for 2 nights
Breakfast and Dinner included
Today we travel to St John’s leaving our luggage at the hotel and have lunch, afterward we go on our city tour and Bay Bulls cruise.
Day 12
Breakfast and Dinner included
Today is on your own with your hop on and hop off bus tickets. Tonight we have our till We Meet Again Dinner with a drink on me.
Day 13
Breakfast included
Later today we leave for the airport and the flights home.
