Day 1: Flight from Toronto to Dublin

Day 2: Transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is on your own with a 2 day hop on/hop off bus pass.

Day 4: Giants Causeway and Belfast day trip**

The most action packed day tour possible from Dublin!

CARRICK A REDE We spend an hour strolling along the windswept coastal path with amazing views to and from the rope bridge. Traditionally fishermen erected the bridge to Carrick-a-Rede Island over a chasm 23m deep and 20m wide, to harvest salmon from their nets. With views of the Mull of Kintyre in Scotland and Rathlin Island.

GIANT’S CAUSEWAY We continue along the coastal drive with fantastic views of Whitepark Bay and Portbradden. We visit the 37,000 basalt columns whose tops form “stepping stones” leading from the cliff foot and disappearing under the sea. They reappear in the island of Straffe, hence the legend that this was a road built by the giant Finn McCool to enable him to cross over to Scotland. Truly an amazing wonder of the world!

COASTLINE VIEWS We travel along the Causeway Coastal route between Ballycastle and Dunluce to experience one of the most dramatic drives in the world, now rated as one of the world’s great road journeys. We transport you by windswept cliffs, spectacular scenery, and fabulous unspoiled beaches.

DUNLUCE CASTLE We continue a wonderful day with a photo stop at Dunluce Castle, home to the McDonnell Clan for many years and considered the most romantic castle in Ireland. En route we pass through Bushmills, famed for the fantastic whiskey, which is enjoyed all over the world.

BELFAST Our next stop is Belfast City Centre. We provide you with a brief city tour taking in City Hall, the famous Titanic Dry Dock, and also The Victoria Square Centre, with its 360 degree view of the City. We return to Dublin after a great day, arriving in Dublin City.

Day 5: Malahide Castle and Howth, a seaside village with a story telling pub crawl in the evening.

The village of Malahide has history dating back to the Vikings around 800 AD The Talbot family as granted extensive land in the area and over the centuries developed the estate in the small Harbour town.

During your tour you will see some of the best collections of Irish period furniture, there are in excess of 5,000 species of plant and trees in the gardens.   You will have two hours here.

Day 6: Blarney Castle and Cork City**

Get the gift of the Gab We exit the Port after meeting our driver/guide and enjoy our scenic drive to Blarney Castle to kiss the Blarney Stone and visit the beautiful gardens, after which we cross the road and go to the woolen mills for shopping. Driving through Cork for our panoramic tour of the city, we drive to our stop at Charlesfort with its stunning views. For lunch we head off to Kinsale a sea side town famous for its restaurants and views, after lunch [not included] you can stroll the narrow winding streets. Time permitting we will  drive the coastal road and see the old head of Kinsale  as we wind our way back to Cobh where you may have time to visit Cobhs Cathedral before embarking your ship. Day 7:   Wicklow and Kilkenny

What a way to get a taste of the true beauty of Ireland! Our Kilkenny and Glendalough day tours from Dublin are a very relaxing and beautiful day trip to enjoy.

Travel through beautiful Kildare to historic Kilkenny. Once the medieval capital of Ireland, Kilkenny boasts Ireland’s finest Norman castle with an opportunity to enjoy a pint of Kilkenny in Kilkenny.

Also great shopping in the traditional Kilkenny design shop. Gaze at the rolling hills, rugged mountains, and glacial valleys of County Wicklow – the Garden of Ireland.

Visit the monastic city of St. Kevin at Glendalough (Braveheart wedding scenes and made famous through ‘PS I Love You’). Sparkling lakes, dense forests and romantic babbling brooks make this a spectacular scenic drive and a fine day out from the big city.

Oh and did we mention we include an exclusive visit to one of the ancient wonders of our pre-Celtic Bronze Age past – Brown Hill Dolmen! – a sneak peak into how our ancient Irish ancestors buried their dead and celebrated their passage into the next world…

Day 8:   Cliffs of Moher**

The world famous Cliffs of Moher Day Tours from Dublin.
